Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional and old boleros, and classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic shows. Her mother taught her to sing. However, she started intensive vocal training by Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. As a student and young professional, she was a part of many chamber groups and opera choruses in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. When she moved to the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana was also a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher of the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Choir for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
